During the Book drive tour we noticed two peculiar pupils who had difficulty in reading, we had a follow-up committee find out from their teachers who confirmed this. We decided to get in touch with their parents who had no source of income having lost their jobs. We decided to take on the project. We visited the eye doctor who ascertained that they would require low vision glasses, leading to the sum of 300 Thousand Naira for both, checkup and tests inclusive, that was how the Eye Care Project was born.
